Broad Overview of Costing
for Beach Project – 2007 -
2010
A broad overview of the
estimated costing of the SFB
Beach Project is shown
below. The three major
components of the
Construction Phase are the
dredger, the sand pipeline
and the three reefs.

The IMS 5012 HP

Note:
Detailed estimates including
the possibility of an
additional reef will be
available later in 2007 once
the Design Phase has been
completed by ASR.
Revised costs are due to the
volumes of the artificial
reefs having been
increased by
approximately 50% following
completion of the initial
design phase in early 2007.
