Anthony Charles Ball

Anthony hails from the Eastern Cape, and has been associated with St Francis Bay for most of his life.

He is currently Executive Chairman of Brait South Africa, an investment and financial services business listed on the JSE.

Before retiring in April 2003 Emlyn was Managing Director of Croda Chemicals International for the preceding 18 years, with responsibility for Sub-Saharan Africa.  Prior to that he was Financial/Marketing Director for 6 years.

Emlynn has owned property in St Francis Bay for 15 years, and since retiring to St Francis Bay, serves on a number of local civic, NGO and social organisations. He also spent a number years competing on the national rally circuit, as well as sailing keel boats competitively.

Pat was born and educated in Pretoria. He has a background in accounting and was appointed Company Secretary of a large listed property company. He then moved into management and was appointed Development Director of Ovland Limited. During his career he has been involved in the development of numerous types of developments right across the spectrum from commercial to residential.

He is married to Peggy and they have three grown up children.  His interests include his family, the protection of the environment, wild life, birds and sport including having represented his province in both cricket and squash. Pat also has a passionate love for Africa and his country.

Mike has been coming to St Francis Bay since he watched the film Endless Summer in 1964.

He qualified as a Civil Engineer (UCT) and is a registered Professional Engineer.

He is currently Chairman of the listed construction group, WBHO Construction (Pty) Ltd as well as the St Francis Links golf development

Alan is the Founder of the St Francis Beach Trust and has been coming to St Francis since the mid-70's.

He studied at the MIT Sloan School of Management in the US and was previously a Senior Executive with the Barlow Rand Group and a Director of a number of companies including MS&A. He is currently the Chairman & CEO of the Global Values Consulting Group.
