Kromme Estuary Shown below is a photo of the Kromme Estuary indicating the various sections of the river where there are currently major sandbanks. These sand sources show how the dredging program could be implemented in order to replenish the beach. Over 1 000 000 cubic meters of sand has been identified as being available for dredging with the lengths of each section and distance from the mouth being indicated below the photo.
